This project will pave the way towards\nintegrating E-controlled magnetism for future data storage and logic\ntechnologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We aim to\nachieve electric field control features in perpendicularly magnetized systems by\nmanipulating spin-dependent quantum well states: the so-called RKKY interlayer\nexchange coupling. We will explore the possibility to carefully tune this\ninterlayer exchange coupling using advanced multilayer\nengineering using direct gating and ionic liquids.
