He studied experimental physics at the Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz and obtained his PhD in 2015. His research focused on the origin of spin Seebeck effect in the combined field of spintronic and thermoelectric. After a year as a postdoctoral researcher at the Group of Prof. M. Kl\u00e4ui he joined Sensitec in 2016.
