Past Research background:
I have completed my M.Sc. project based on the magnetic anisotropy, where Static magneto optical Kerr effect experiment was conducted. I have experience of performing experiments using -“static magneto-optical Kerr effect”-(MOKE) magnetometry with individual capacity. Moreover, I have completed a summer project based on Ferromagnetic resonance measurements by using Broadband Vector Network Analyzer (VNA) and Pico probe on a patterned magnetic nanostructure.
Current MagnEFi project:
This PhD. project is based on the manipulation and control of magnetic domain wall motion in nanostructures, by applying the combination of mechanical strain and light which plays a significant role in the field of energy-efficient spintronics devices. The ultimate goal will be to understand and optimise these two effects separately and to potentiate the device functionality by exploring the combined effects on magnetic domain wall motion and magnetisation switching.
