Research background:
My master’s thesis project entitled “Micromagnetic analysis of spintronic devices ” had the main target to study the formation and dynamics of skyrmions using micromagnetic simulations .

I started my PhD at Institut Néel on February 1st. The project entitled “Combined gating and optical control of skyrmion-bubbles” aims at studying the manipulation of magnetisation of magnetic stacks with DMI and PMA through electrical gating.

One of the first aims is to control annihilation and nucleation of skyrmions with electric field.

A second part of my project will be to control the dynamics of chiral domain walls and skyrmions with electric field gating.

The third part that we hope to be able to implement in the 3rd year of my PhD in collaboration with Technical University Eindhoven will combine the previous results with the use of femto-second laser pulses.
