Research background:
Before starting my MagnEFi project, I studied at Politecnico di Milano (Italy) where I was awarded both my bachelor and my master’s degrees in Engineering Physics.
My research experience is in nanophysics, in particular in the field of 2D materials. During my exchange year at Heriot Watt University (UK) I wrote my thesis about the optical characterization of excitons in 2D heterostructures.
I am now a PhD student at the university of Mainz and my project, in collaboration with the company Sensitec GmbH, is about strain in magneto resistive sensors.
